WHO WE ARE

Our journey began with a simple concern: a child couldn’t participate in the 5th Grade Track Meet because his mother worked and he didn’t have a way to get to the event. Realizing how important extracurricular activities are for a child’s development, we were determined to ensure no child in our community faced barriers—financial or logistical—that would prevent them from participating.

This vision led to the creation of our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, focused on providing school-aged youth in the Batavia Public School district with access to programs, supplies, and transportation. We launched our mission to support students through enriching camps, designed to foster social, emotional, and academic growth, while breaking down barriers to participation.

In March 2020, we held our first camps despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, serving over 2,000 participants in a variety of sports and activities. Since then, our efforts have grown significantly, with over 3,000 participants engaging in diverse camps such as baseball, golf, lacrosse, wrestling, culinary arts, digital arts, music, and more.

Our financial impact has been substantial as well, with nearly $21,000 allocated in one year to help over 100 students cover fees, supplies, and transportation. We’ve also funded grants for school-based programs and partnered with local organizations to improve community resources, like replacing basketball hoops at Batavia Apartments. This year, we helped establish an afterschool activity bus, making sure no student misses out due to transportation issues.

We remain committed to our mission and continue to expand our programs, ensuring every child in our community has the opportunity to thrive—through sports, arts, education, and beyond. And our work is far from done!
